The University of Origin
A full research university embedded in the formation — clinical, observatory, and engineering integrated by floor.
A full university — medical school, engineering, sciences, arts, law — distributed across the formation. The University is to Origin what Columbia is to Manhattan: not adjacent, integrated.
Founding schools
School of Medicine. School of Engineering. School of Sciences (physics, astronomy, biology, chemistry, math). School of Arts (music, performing, visual). School of Law. School of Business. School of Architecture. School of Public Service. The full complement; expansion as program demand emerges.
Clinical integration with Origin Hospital
The medical school's clinical years run inside Origin Hospital. Residency programs across all specialties. The hospital and the school share faculty, beds, and research infrastructure — there is no boundary between teaching and care.
Astronomy at the Apex
The astronomy program runs out of the Apex telescope. Graduate students observe in the same building they sleep in — by elevator. No other astronomy program on Earth has this configuration.
Where the University lives
Distributed across multiple Pillars rather than concentrated. Lecture halls and lab floors mix with residential and commercial in true vertical mixed-use. Student residences at lower-mid elevations; faculty residences at upper-mid; clinical and observatory at their host facilities. Pending floor-level allocation map.
