Civic Space
The floors that belong to no one and to everyone.
A city needs civic space — places that are not residential, not commercial, not private. Origin's civic floors are where the formation acts as a city rather than a building.
Where the public goes
Foundation public concourse — multi-floor at-grade civic space, transit hall, public art, public meeting rooms, civic services. Skybridge tier public floors — accessible to anyone with a verified .nw identity, regardless of residency. Apex civic observation — public access to the highest viewing floors on Earth, by reservation.
Seeing 200 miles in clear air
From the Apex observation floors, on a clear Colorado Plateau day, the visible horizon reaches the Grand Canyon, the San Francisco Peaks, and the Rocky Mountain front range. Origin observation deck targets being the longest sustained ground-level visibility from any occupied space on Earth.
Vigil at Origin
A memorial floor at one of the skybridge tiers, dedicated to the work of platforms like badge.nw — public space for remembrance, contemplation, and ritual. Origin's permanence-as-design-principle finds its most direct expression here. Pending Specific tier and program partnership.
How non-residents reach civic floors
Verified .nw identity required for any access above Foundation. Day passes, observation reservations, visitor sponsorship by residents — all routed through the .nw identity layer. No anonymous movement above the Foundation public concourse.
