בן זהבה ושמואל-דויד, נולד באדר ב' תרפ"ט (1929) בעיר גרוס- וארדן, הונגריה ועלה לארץ בשנת 1948 באוניית המעפילים "מורדי הגיטאות". מרדכי-חיים לחם במלחמת-העצמאות בחטיבת "עודד" ונפל בקרב באזור משמר הירדן ביום ז' בסיוון תש"ח (14.6.1948). מצבה לזכרו הוקמה בבית-הקברות הצבאי בהר-הרצל בירושלים. החלל הינו מקל''ן- חלל שמקום קבורתו לא נודע.
