Turai Dov Alexandrovitch served in the Israel Defense Forces. Dov served with the Armored Corps. Dov served in the War of Independence.
בן דבורה ושמואל-יעקב, נולד בשנת 1922 בעיר צ'נסטוחוב אשר בפולין. בנעוריו היגרו הוריו לצרפת. דב סיים לימודיו בבית-ספר בפריז והחל לעבוד כזבן בחנות. הוא היה חבר בתנועת נוער ציונית וחלם על עלייה לארץ, אך גורל יהודי אירופה הדביק אותו בשנת 1940. דב נלקח למחנות-עבודה - ומזלו וכוח-נעוריו עמדו לו לעבור בשלום את חמש השנים של שיעבוד ועבודת-פרך. עם השחרור התמסר לעבודה ציונית פעילה ולהכנת עלייתו. הוא נפרד מהוריו שנשארו בגולה, והעפיל לארץ, בנובמבר 1946, באונייה "לטרון". האונייה נתפסה על-ידי הבריטים ונוסעיה שולחו לקפריסין. הוא שוחרר כעבור ארבעה חודשים, הגיע ארצה, התגייס מיד לנוטרות והצטרף אל שורות ה"הגנה" ואחר-כך - התגייס לצה"ל ושירת בחטיבת "קריתי". דב נפל בקרב בדיר טריף בעת מבצע "דני", ביום ה' בתמוז תש"ח (12.7.1948). הוא הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בנחלת יצחק.
