Turai Ben Zion Solomon served in the Israel Defense Forces. Ben served with the Armored Corps. Ben was 25 years old.
בן שלמה ויוכבד. נולד ביום ג' באדר תש"ב (20.2.1942) בבומביי אשר בהודו. שם סיים את לימודיו היסודיים והתיכוניים. בשנת 1960 עלתה המשפחה לארץ. היה פעיל בקרב הנוער במושב מצליח שבו היה חי מיום בואו. נמנה עם עובדי תע"ש. כשנה לאחר עלותו לארץ גויס לצה"ל, שירת כחובתו של כל בן מישראל ולאחר שחרורו היה יוצא למילואים מדי פעם. במסגרת זו נמצא גם בפרוץ מלחמת ששת הימים וביום החמישי לקרבותיה, בהיותו איש צוות-טנק, נפל בקרב שנערך בקלעה אשר ברמה הסורית. הובא לקבורה בבית-הקברות הצבאי בעפולה ולאחר זמן הועבר למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי שעל הר-הרצל בירושלים.
