Turai Itzhak Cohen served with the Etzel. Itzhak served in the War of Independence. Itzhak was 21 years old.
בן חנה ואהרון, נולד ביום י"ג בתשרי תרפ"ז (21.9.1926) בירושלים, ובה למד. בבגרותו עבר עם משפחתו לתל-אביב והתפרנס ממכירת קרח. יצחק היה בחור שקט העושה מלאכתו נאמנה. הוא הצטרף לשורות האצ"ל והחל ללמוד להשתמש בנשק. יצחק נעצר על-ידי הבריטים והועבר למחנה המעצר בלטרון ובעתלית כ"חשוד בטירור" ושהה בהם כשנתיים. מיד עם שחרורו הצטרף לכוח הלוחם ונטל חלק פעיל בכיבוש יפו ויהודיה. ביום ט"ו בסיוון תש"ח (22.6.1948) כאשר האונייה "אלטלנה" הגיעה לחופי הארץ נפגע ונהרג. הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית- הקברות הצבאי בנחלת יצחק. הניח הורים. ארבעה אחים ואחות.
