Turai Oded Zeev served with the Etzel. Oded served in the War of Independence.
בן כדייה ואברהם, נולד בשנת תרפ"ח (1928) בתימן ועלה עם משפחתו לארץ-ישראל בשנת תש"ד (1944). בארץ התגייס למשטרה הבריטית ונשלח לשרת בתחנת הרכבת בחדרה. באותה תקופה הצטרף למחתרת האצ"ל ושמו המחתרתי היה אברהם. כאשר עלה אצ"ל מהמחתרת עבר עודד עם חבריו לזכרון יעקב במטרה להצטרף במקובץ לצבא הגנה לישראל במסגרת גדודי האצ"ל. ביום ט"ו בסיוון תש"ח (22.6.1948) הגיעה אוניית האצ"ל "אלטלנה" לחוף כפר ויתקין כדי לפרוק מעליה כ900- עולים, אנשי אצ"ל ומתנדבים מחו"ל וכן ציוד צבאי, נשק ותחמושת. אנשי אצ"ל ממקומות שונים בארץ נחפזו לחוף כפר ויתקין כדי לעזור בפריקת האונייה. עודד היה בין המסייעים במלאכה ובחילופי האש בין אנשי האצ"ל לחיילי צה"ל נפגע עודד ונהרג. הוא הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בנחלת יצחק.
