Turai Zvi Galster served in the Israel Defense Forces. Zvi served with the Golani Brigade. Zvi served in the War of Independence. Zvi was 19 years old.
בן לובה והיינריך, נולד ביום ב' בשבט תרפ"ט (13.1.1929) בעיר לודז', פולין. הוא נאלץ להפסיק את לימודיו בבית-הספר עם פרוץ מלחמת-העולם השנייה, והגרמנים לקחוהו, את בן העשר, והעבירוהו במשך השנים ממחנה למחנה בפולין ובגרמניה, ובאחרונה היה במחנה ברגן-בלזן. עם שחרור המחנה על-ידי הצבא האמריקני התמחה במקצוע המכונאות ועלה לארץ במסגרת "עליית-הנוער" בחודש מרס 1948. צבי שוחרר מהצבא כעולה חדש וכבן יחיד, אולם למחרת ההפצצה הראשונה תל-אביב, שבה התגורר אביו, התנדב לשירות פעיל, שירת בחטיבת "גולני" והשתתף בקרבות שונים. לאחרונה היה בעמק הירדן. ביום כ"ה באלול תש"ח (29.9.1948) נסע במשאית מאפיקים לאשדות יעקב. הרכב התהפך, וצבי נהרג. הוא נקבר באשדות יעקב. ביום י"ג באב תש"י (27.7.1950) הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בנחלת יצחק.
