Rav Turai Kalman-Arie Dvir Dvortz served in the Israel Defense Forces. Kalman-Arie served with the Infantry. Kalman-Arie was 34 years old.
בן שמעון-ראובן וציפורה. נולד ביום כ"א בשבט תרצ"ג (17.2.1933) בירושלים. סבו היה מחשובי רבני ליטא ופעיל בהקמת מוסדות תורה רבים. תחילה למד קלמן אריה בבית "תלמוד תורה" ("יבנה") ולאחר מכן בישיבת "תורה ומלאכה" בכפר אברהם. וככה גודל ברוח התורה. באופן פרטי השתלם והיה טכנאי מוכשר. ניהל את מפעל הצעצועים של כפר הנשיא. היה חובב מוסיקה והיו לו קשרים בינלאומיים להקלטה ולהסרטה מכל קצוי תבל. כמה שנים התגורר בקרית שמונה ועבד במחלקת ההדרכה במשרד החקלאות שם; עסק בביצוען של פעולות הדרכה שונות וארגן אותן מצדן הטכני. זכה לפרס משרדי על יחסו הנאה ועל חסכון כספי המדינה ושמירה על רכושה, יחס שהתבטא מצדו בהחזקה נאותה של רכב ממשלתי; היה בכך כדי לחסוך סכומים ניכרים לתקציב המדינה. שירת בצה"ל בשירות סדיר. היה במסגרת המילואים בנפלו בקרב שהתחולל ברמת הגולן. הוא נורה ליד קוניטרה ביום ה' בסיון תשכ"ז (13.6.1967). הניח אשה וילדה. הובא למנוחת עולמים בבית הקברות הצבאי שעל הר הרצל בירושלים. בספר "בדרכם", בהוצאת איחוד הקבוצות והקיבוצים לזכר החברים שנפלו במערכה, הונצח שמו.
