בן פריידל וגרגור-הרשל, נולד ביום כ"ג בכסלו תרפ"ט (6.12.1928) בברלין, בירת גרמניה. סיים בית-ספר יסודי יהודי בברלין. לאחר שיצא בשלום מכל זוועות מלחמת-העולם השנייה, עלה ארצה בחודש אפריל 1948, התגייס ושירת בחטיבת "אלכסנדרוני". שירת בפלוגה הדתית שלחמה בחזית המרכז ולאחר-מכן בדרום. בעת מבצע "חורב" נערך מבצע "חיסול" נגד "כיס פלוג'ה", שבו היתה נצורה חטיבה מצרית. ההתקפה נערכה על אגפו המזרחי של ה"כיס", באזור עיראק אל-מנשיה. כוחות "אלכסנדרוני" פרצו לכפר מדרום והשתלטו על חלקו, אך הסתערותם על התל שמצפון לכפר נהדפה. בינתיים התאוששו המצרים, תקפו נגד ואילצו את כוחותינו לסגת. חלק מהכוח נלכד בתוך הכפר. בקרב זה נפל, ביום כ"ו בכסלו תש"ט (28.12.1948). נקבר בפלוג'ה. ביום י"ז בכסלו תש"י (8.12.1949) הועבר למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בנחלת יצחק.
