Turai Gideon Nahshoni Kleiderman served in the Israel Defense Forces. Gideon served with the Armored Corps. Gideon served in the Six-Day War. Gideon was 38 years old.
בן יוסף ושרה. נולד ביום כ"ז במרחשון תרפ"ט (10.11.1928) בעפולה. גדעון סיים את לימודיו היסודיים והתיכוניים בקרית-חיים. מצא את פרנסתו ב"סולל-בונה " במפרץ חיפה. לצה"ל גויס באוקטובר 1948. היה בפלמ"ח והשתתף במלחמת- הקוממיות ואף במערכת-סיני. מפעם לפעם היה יוצא לשירות- מילואים ובפרוץ מלחמת ששת הימים נקרא שוב לדגל ושימש בה נהג ג'יפ במחלקת הסיור הגדודית. תוך מעבר גבול ירדן וחדירה לעבר כפר דן הונחתה אש מרגמות ונ"ט על הכוח ואז נפגע הג'יפ של גדעון הפגיעה ישירה של פגז-מרגמה - וגדעון נפל; זה היה ביום הראשון לקרבות, הוא כ"ו באייר תשכ"ז (5.6.1967). הניח אשה ושני בנים. הובא לקבורה בבית-הקברות בעפולה ולאחר זמן הועבר למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בחיפה. בספר- הזכרון לבני קרית חיים - "האילנות שנגדעו" - הובאו תולדותיו ודברים עליו.
