Jaw-dropping moment massive fire truck barrels into Sunland building

Add The New York Post on Google Wild video captured an out-of-control fire Los Angeles Fire Department truck barreling into several parked cars before crashing into a building in Sunland.

The crash, which occurred around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at 10500 N. McVine Ave., left two LAFD firefighters with minor injuries. No other injuries were reported, according to the LAFD.

A clip of the wreck showed the massive engine driving along the street before crashing into parked cars, and flipping on its side, eventually striking an H&R Block office.

“One of our fire engines was responding to a structure fire call in the area when they were involved in a traffic accident,” an LAFD captain told the outlet. “Their engine rolled over into a building. There were two firefighters in that fire engine they were both transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. There were no injuries to civilians at this time.”

Los Angeles police are investigating what caused the crash. The LAFD has yet to release the identities of the two firefighters.

Employees at a nearby Panda Express told ABC 7 that they had to evacuate the eatery, and several other businesses needed to close early for the day.

A cleanup of the area along Foothill Boulevard between McVine and Oro Vista avenues took hours to complete.
