In late 2023, the fully finished “Coyote vs. Acme” film was shelved as a tax write-off by Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav; the company later reversed its decision after public backlash. Ketchup Entertainment ultimately acquired the rights to “Coyote vs. Acme” and on Aug. 28 of this year, it finally hit theaters.
Will Forte, Lana Condor and John Cena lead the human cast of “Coyote vs. Acme,” which follows Wile E. Coyote as he hires a down-on-his-luck lawyer (Forte) to sue the Acme Corporation for repeatedly selling him faulty products.
The Post’s entertainment critic Johnny Oleksinski gave the film 3.5 stars (of 4) in his review, writing, “What’s so great in ‘Coyote vs. Acme,’ though — aside from actual talented voice actors doing their jobs instead of out-of-their-depth celebs speaking in monotone — are the constant, outrageously funny jokes.”
Oleksinski also notes that the “cracking comedy” is “easily among the top ‘Looney Tunes’ movies ever.”

“Coyote vs. Acme” is available for digital purchase on Prime Video. The film costs $24.99 to buy or $19.99 to rent.

If you choose the rental option, you’ll have 30 days to begin watching the movie and 48 hours of access once you’ve pressed play.
While you can stream “The End of Oak Street” at home now, some may prefer a physical alternative to owning movies digitally, because there’s always the chance that rights may be revoked and you’ll lose that digital access.
Physical discs are tangible proof that, as long as you have a player to play them, you’ll be able to watch the movies you own.
“Coyote vs. Acme” will be released on Blu-ray, 4K and regular DVD. A release date has not been confirmed yet, but you can preorder today for release day delivery.
