Add The New York Post on Google After a fiery joint practice on Thursday, the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins will meet this afternoon for Week 2 of NFL Preseason.
Despite a handful of fights breaking out (and head coaches staying true to their word by benching players who threw punches), both the Giants’ offense and defense dominated in the joint practice.
“On the day the two teams shared two practice fields, the Giants looked like the far better squad,” The Post’s Paul Schwartz wrote.
At the time of writing, head coach John Harbaugh has yet to reveal whether starters will take the field today.
Both teams are entering this afternoon off Week 1 losses. The Giants lost a close game to the Vikings, 13-10, while the Dolphins dropped their first game against Washington by a larger margin, 20-7.
Today’s (Aug. 22) Giants vs. Dolphins game kicks off at 4 p.m. ET.
