בן מיכאל ולאה. נולד ביום י' בניסן ת"ש (16.4.1940) בעיר קבול אשר באפגניסטן. כאשר מלאו לו י"ג (1953) עלתה המשפחה לארץ. בנעוריו נמצא בגדנ"ע. את הטבע אהב מאד ובחפץ לב היה מבלה בחיק הטבע. הוא התפרנס מאריגה. בהגיע מועד גיוסו גויס לצה"ל לחיל ההנדסה והשריון, זה היה בנובמבר 1960. לאחר שהשתחרר מהצבא היה יוצא למילואים וכך היה גם לפני מלחמת ששת הימים ביום הששי לקרבותיה, הוא ב' בסיון תשכ"ז (11.6.1967), נפל בקרב שנערך ברמת-הגולן בשעה שפגע בו כדור-האויב תוך נסיעה בשיירה. הניח אשה ושתי בנות קטנות; את בנו, צאצאו השלישי, לא זכה לראות, כי נולד בשנת 1968. הובא לקבורה בבית-הקברות הצבאי בנהריה ולאחר זמן הועבר למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי שעל הר-הרצל בירושלים.
