Rav Samal Reuven Noifeld served in the Israel Defense Forces. Reuven served with the Artillery Corps. Reuven served in the Six-Day War. Reuven was 45 years old.

What Happened

בן יהודה ושושנה. נולד ביום כ"ג בשבט תרפ"ב (23.1.1922) בפתח-תקוה. למד בבית-ספר יסודי ולאחר-מכן בבית-ספר תיכון. היה חבר תנועת "הנוער העובד". היה חבר "הגנה", שירת בבריגדה היהודית. גויס לצה"ל במאי 1948 והשתתף במלחמת-הקוממיות. אהב את מולדתו ונתן את שירותו במלא הנאמנות. טוב-לב היה מאין כמוהו ואהב לעזור לזולת בכל. עניו היה בכל מנהגיו ומצניע לכת. היה בעל נאמן ואב מסור ששפע אהבה רבה למשפחתו. התפרנס כסוכן בחברת "שמן". היה יוצא למילואים. גם במלחמת ששת הימים נקרא לדגל וביום הראשון לקרבותיה, הוא כ"ו באייר תשכ"ז (5.6.1967), נפל ליד קיבוץ בוחן בשעת הפגזה. הניח אשה ושני בנים. הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי שעל הר-הרצל בירושלים. שמו הוזכר בחוברת שהוצאה על-ידי עיריית נתניה לזכר הנופלים. באלבום "עוצבת השרון במלחמת ששת הימים" שהוציאה מפקדת חטיבתו הונצח זכרו על-ידי הדפסת תצלומו.
