Turai Rishon Yaakov Nazarov served in the Israel Defense Forces. Yaakov served with the Paratroopers Brigade. Yaakov served in the Sinai Campaign. Yaakov was 19 years old.

What Happened

בן גרשון ופנינה. נולד ביום כ"ב בשבט תרצ"ז (3.2.1937) בחיפה. אחרי סיימו את לימודיו בבית-הספר היסודי ("ביאליק") עבר ללמוד בבית-הספר המקצועי על-שם מכס פיין. השתייך לתנועת "הנוער העובד". בן מסור היה להוריו ונאמן למשפחתו. היה מסגר לפי מקצועו. כספורטאי מובהק היה משחק ב"מכבי". גויס לצה"ל בספטמבר 1955 ואחרי גיוסו היה למ"כ. השתתף במערכת-סיני ונפל בקרב ביום כ"ט במרחשון תשי"ז (3.11.1956). הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בקרית-שאול. בספרו של אורי מילשטיין, "מלחמות הצנחנים", הועלה זכרו.
