Turai Rishon Aharon Mizrahi served in the Israel Defense Forces. Aharon served with the Givati Brigade. Aharon served in the War of Independence. Aharon was 17 years old.

What Happened

בן רגינה וחיים, נולד ביום ד' באדר תרצ"א (21.2.1931) בפריז, בירת צרפת. הוא גדל בשטרסבורג ולמד שם בבית-ספר יסודי. בימי מלחמת-העולם השנייה עברה המשפחה לספרד ושם למד בבית-ספר צרפתי בברצלונה. בתום המלחמה חזר עם אחיו לפריז, המשיך בלימודיו ועם זאת החל לעבוד כפקיד. כשהגיע אליו שמע מלחמת-העצמאות בארץ, עזב את אחיו ועלה לארץ ב-11.6.1948 כאיש מח"ל (מתנדבי חוץ-לארץ). אהרן שירת בחטיבת "גבעתי" ובשורותיה לחם בעת מבצע "יואב" לפריצת הדרך לנגב. הוא נפל ביום י"ד בתשרי תש"ט (17.10.1948) בהתקפה על מערך "הצומת" המצרי ליד נגבה. כאשר נפגע בירכו ובחזהו. הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בכפר ורבורג.
