Turai Michael Kalili served in the Israel Defense Forces. Michael served with the Armored Corps. Michael served in the Sinai Campaign. Michael was 20 years old.
בן חביב וטאיס. נולד ביום י"ד בכסלו תרצ"ו (10.12.1935) בעיר תיקב שבפרס. הגיע לארץ בשנת 1951. סיים את לימודיו בבית-ספר יסודי והתחיל ללמוד בקורס להנהלת-חשבונות. עבד כמרצף. השתייך לתנועת "הפועל המזרחי". גויס לצה"ל במאי 1953 וגמר את שירות-החובה שלו. לאחר-מכן, בצאתו למערכת-סיני, נפל בקרב רפיח ביום כ"ז במרחשון תשי"ז (1.11.1956). הובא לקבורה לבית-הקברות הצבאי לשעת-חירום בבארי וביום כ"ח בתשרי תשי"ח (23.10.1957) הועבר למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי שעל הר-הרצל בירושלים.
