Seren Naftali Zilberman served in the Israel Defense Forces. Naftali served with the Armored Corps. Naftali served in the Sinai Campaign. Naftali was 27 years old.
בן אליהו ושרה. נולד ביום כ"ו באייר תרפ"ט (5.6.1929) בעיר סרנקי אשר בפולין. בהיותו בן י"ב, בשלגי-סיביר, היה הדואג היחיד לאמו ולאחיותיו. אך התגבר על הקשיים וייחל ליום עלותו לארץ. בשנת 1949 סוף סוף עלה. היה חבר תנועת "גורדוניה" והצטרף ל"הגנה". לאחר-מכן גויס לצה"ל, נתן שירותו מתוך שגמר קורס-קצינים ואז שירת בצבא-הקבע. הוא אף נשלח לחוץ-לארץ להשתלמות. הוא השתתף במערכת-סיני, ונפל בקרב אבו-עגילה ביום כ"ח במרחשון תשי"ז (2.11.1956) הובא לקבורה בבית-הקברות לשעת-חירום בשלח, אך ביום כ"ה בתשרי תשי"ח (23.10.1957) הועבר למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי שעל הר-הרצל בירושלים. ביום נפלו הועלה לדרגת סרן.
