Segen Yehuda Karni served in the Israel Defense Forces. Yehuda served with the Armored Corps. Yehuda served in the Sinai Campaign. Yehuda was 33 years old.
בן אליעזר ורנה. נולד ביום ח' בטבת תרפ"ג (27.12.1922) בעיר בודפשט, בירת-הונגריה. סיים שם את לימודיו בבית-ספר יסודי ותיכון. עלה לארץ בשנת 1941. השתייך ל"הנוער הציוני". היה חבר מושב עין-עירון ועסק שם בנהגות. שירת בצבא הבריטי ואף שם היה נהג. היה חבר ה"הגנה" והיה מ"כ בה. גויס לצה"ל ביוני 1948 והגיע לדרגת סגן. ביום ב' בכסלו תשי"ז (6.11.1956) נפל בשדה-הקרב במרחב סיני. הובא לקבורה בבית-הקברות באילת וביום ח' בשבט תשי"ח (29.1.1958) הועבר למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בקרית-שאול. הניח אשה ושלושה ילדים.
