בן נג'יבה וצאלח, נולד ביום 1.11.1931 בכפר הדרוזי עוספיה שעל הר הכרמל. בתקופת מלחמת-העצמאות שירת ביחידת המיעוטים המיוחדת לדרוזים. בעת מבצע "חירם" לשחרור הגליל המערבי לחמה היחידה תחת פיקודה של חטיבת "עודד" שפעלה בגזרה המערבית של המבצע. בליל 28-29 באוקטובר תקפו כוחותינו את תרשיחא ועל יחידת הדרוזים הוטל לכבוש את הכפר ינוח. ההתקפה על תרשיחא לא עלתה יפה ולכוחות ניתנה הוראה לסגת. יחידת הדרוזים השתלטה על ינוח, אך בשל תקלות בקשר לא קיבלה את פקודת הנסיגה. עם בוקר התאוששו כוחות קאוקג'י ובסיוע חלק מאנשי הכפר תקפו את היחידה וזו נאלצה לסגת. נפל בקרב ביום 29.10.1948 ולמחרת נקבר בשדה הקרב בינוח. ביום 30.11.1954 הועבר למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי הדרוזי שבכפר עוספיה.
