בן אהרן ומרים. נולד בשנת תש"ט (1949) בקזבלנקה שבמרוקו. בשנת 1956 עלה לארץ. את לימודיו היסודיים סיים בבית-הספר "דבורה ברק" בעפולה ולאחר-מכן התחיל ללמוד בבית-הספר התיכון החקלאי שבמקום. לצה"ל גויס באוגוסט 1967 ושירת בחיל-ההנדסה אך עוד הוא נמצא בשירות-חובה נפל בשעת מילוי תפקידו ביום י"ב בכסלו תשכ"ט (3.12.1968). הובא למנוחת- עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בעפולה.
