בן רחל ואהרן, נולד בשנת 1910 בפולין. עם פרוץ מלחמת-העצמאות גויס חיים לכוחות המגן. ביום 19.9.1948 נפגע בתאונת-דרכים וכעבור ארבעה ימים, ביום י"ט באלול תש"ח (23.9.1948), מת מפצעיו בבית-החולים בילינסון. חיים הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בנחלת יצחק.
