בן ארמנד וסימי. נולד ביום י"ח בשבט תשי"א (25.1.1951) בקזבלנקה שבמרוקו. עלה עם משפחתו לישראל בשנת 1951. למד בבית הספר היסודי "אשלים" באופקים שבנגב ולמד שנה אחת (כיתה ט') בישיבה התיכונית "שערי אברהם". הוא סיים קורס לחשמלאות בנין בבית הספר להכשרה מקצועית בבאר שבע. בהיותו בבית הספר היה פעיל בחוגים שונים בגדנ"ע והצטיין בקליעה למטרה. בשעות הפנאי היה עובד ומשתלם בתחומי התמחותו במסגרות ובחשמלאות. דוד גויס לצה"ל בפברואר 1969. כעבור חמישה חודשים, אור ליום כ' בתמוז תשכ"ט (5.7.1969), נפל בעת מילוי תפקידו. הוא הובא למנוחת עולמים בבית הקברות הצבאי באופקים.
