Katzin Refua Karlos Kos served in the Israel Defense Forces. Karlos served with the Medical Corps. Karlos was 29 years old.
בן יצחק ורחל. נולד ביום ז' בשבט תש"ו (9.1.1946) בארגנטינה. עלה ארצה בשנת 1973. למד בבית-הספר היסודי ובבית-הספר התיכון בסלטה שבארגנטינה. אחרי-כן למד רפואה באוניברסיטת קורדובה וסיים את לימודיו בהצלחה. כשעלה לישראל עם אשתו - רחל - השתלם בקורס לרופאים בעברית, בבית-החולים המרכזי בנגב. כעבור זמן נולד בנו - יצחק. קרלוס גויס לצה"ל בינואר 1975. הוא נשלח לשרת כקצין-רפואה בבית-החולים בצפת והצליח מאוד בתפקידו. התחבב על חבריו הרופאים והוערך כרופא מצוין. ביום ב' בשבט תשל"ו (4.1.1976) נפטר קרלוס בעת שירותו. הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית- העלמין שבצפת. השאיר אחריו אישה ובן בישראל, וכן הורים וקרובי משפחה בארגנטינה.
