Rav Turai Natan Sharabi served in the Israel Defense Forces. Natan served with the Infantry. Natan served in the War of Independence. Natan was 25 years old.
בן ימימה ואברהם, נולד ביום ד' בשבט תרפ"ג (21.1.1923) בתימן. בשנת 1932 עלה עם הוריו לארץ. כאן סיים בית-ספר יסודי ועבד כפועל במחסן צינורות בתל-אביב. היה עלם גבה-קומה, רחב- כתפים ואמיץ-לב. עם פרוץ מלחמת-העצמאות התייצב לשירות צה"ל ושירת בגדוד נהגי הפרדות. עם צאתו למערכה עודד את אחיו שחרדו לשלומו ואמר להם: "אני אשמור על עצמי, יען שאני רוצה לחיות ככל אדם. השירות קורא לי". נתן נפל ביום י' בתשרי תש"ט (13.10.1948) בתאונת-דרכים ליד חדרה והובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בנחלת יצחק. הניח אחריו אישה.
