East Baton Rouge Sheriffâs Office Wings had been fired from the business about two weeks earlier, police said, noting that a security camera malfunction at the shop prevented managers from getting a clear shot of his memorable face.
The business manager later told investigators they recognized Wings by his distinctive walk.
