Ministry of Commerce’s statement follows US president’s comments that Beijing had agreed to buy at least 200 jets from Boeing

Beijing did not confirm the deal until Saturday and its statement did not mention the amount.
However, Trump had said the deal could involve up to 750 planes.
Beijing added that both sides had also agreed to reduce tariffs on certain goods, including agricultural products.
It also said China would act to address concerns about imports of US beef to China.
