WWE-NXT synergy finally clicking like it was meant to — and everyone is benefiting

WWE via Getty Images The foundation for WWE’s future is being laid before our eyes, and it’s finally being done as it was envisioned when NXT began.

WWE is getting the best of both worlds out of the brand right now. NXT is a good-enough standalone product to secure its own television and PLE media rights deal, while also creating the next wave of stars who do not need tinkering with when they get to the main roster.

There may not be a better time to start your career in NXT when you factor in its touring for live television shows more frequently, the partnership with TNA, the CW’s audience reach and the upcoming John Cena Classic, which will guarantee some showcase matches with top main roster talent in an event with the WWE GOAT’s name and promotional abilities attached.

It’s a credit to Shawn Michaels and Triple H for having NXT talent so well prepared for Raw and SmackDown and not messing with the characters that have proven equity with the audience and the performers feel comfortable with. It’s one of the great byproducts of Vince McMahon’s departure.
