Bo Bichette was in front of his locker, trying to assess how the beginning of the Mets season had gone so spectacularly wrong.
The former Blue Jays star is still adjusting to New York, still getting used to the sky-high expectations that come with a huge payroll and playing in the city.
“We’re definitely in the middle of it,’’ Bichette said. “But the World Series isn’t won in April. We’ve got a lot of season left. The way to approach it is to come to the field and just play because we haven’t figured out an identity.”
