Terrifying video shows the moment a slingshot ride snapped midair at a popular Spanish fair — injuring four riders, including two kids.
The distressing ordeal unfolded when a cable on the Steel Max bungee-style ride suddenly broke at Seville’s Feria de Abril on Friday evening, authorities said.
Footage circulating on social media captured the capsule being flung some 300 feet into the air just moments before the cable broke away.
The cage then plummeted towards the ground before crashing into the ride’s steel structure.
Distraught onlookers could be heard screaming as the chaos unfolded.
Two youngsters were on the ride at the time, and both were injured, local media reported.
Another two adults also suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene, the Seville Emergency Service Department said.
