All of Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep’s ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ press tour looks, from cerulean sweaters to Chanel

On this press tour, the devil’s in the details.

Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep are circling the globe to promote “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” and so far, the fashion has matched the film’s legacy beat for beat.

With stylist Erin Walsh dressing Hathaway, 43, and Micaela Erlanger handling Streep, 76, the duo have leaned into cerulean callbacks, devil-red power plays and sharp designer pulls from Schiaparelli to Chanel and, of course, Prada. Even Miranda Priestly would approve.

The sequel — which also reunites Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci alongside newcomers like Simone Ashley and Kenneth Branagh — hits theaters May 1. Below, see how the co-stars are dressing for every stop.

On stage at the Oscars, Hathaway staged a surprise “Devil Wears Prada” moment with Anna Wintour — the real-life inspiration for Miranda Priestly — while presenting the awards for Best Costume Design and Best Makeup and Hairstyling. Hathaway wore a floral Valentino gown, widely read as a wink at Priestly’s withering “Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking” line.

The official tour kicked off at the Museo Frida Kahlo in Mexico City. Hathaway wore a black Schiaparelli fringe-trimmed skirt set with a gold surrealist eye belt, the brand’s keyhole pumps and Bulgari jewelry and sunglasses.

Streep made a designer homage to the film in head-to-toe red, pairing a custom Dolce & Gabbana suit and pussy-bow blouse with patent Aldo sling-backs. She accessorized with a custom Olympia Le-Tan clutch modeled after the original movie poster, Fope jewelry and Emmanuelle Khanh sunglasses.

For the evening event, Hathaway walked the carpet in a sequined Stella McCartney fall 2026 minidress with thigh-high black boots — a nod to the Chanel boots Andy Sachs famously wore during her movie makeover. Streep opted for a navy Schiaparelli shirtdress with gold eye-shaped buttons, “teeth” earrings and the brand’s surrealist face bag.

Streep arrived at “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” studio in a Givenchy cheetah-print coat with a pussy-bow, Gianvito Rossi slingback pumps, a DeMellier bag, Fope jewelry and Lapima cat-eye sunglasses.

For the taping, she swapped into the night’s main event: a custom cerulean cable-knit J.Crew cashmere sweater, designed with Erlanger as a direct callback to Andy Sachs’ “lumpy blue sweater” from the film’s most-quoted monologue. She paired it with blue eyeglasses, black Dolce & Gabbana trousers, Mejuri jewelry and Gianvito Rossi loafer heels. “This is Annie Hathaway’s outfit from the first ‘Devil Wears Prada,'” she told Colbert.

The co-stars coordinated in black, white and red for the film’s first Asia stop. Hathaway wore a spring 2026 Valentino Haute Couture strapless gown with layers of billowing ruffles. She accessorized with ivory Valentino Rockstud heels — the same style prominently featured in the sequel’s trailer — and Bvlgari Serpenti earrings.

Streep added Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel to her growing press tour résumé, turning heads in a fringed set from the spring 2026 Métiers d’Art collection along with cap-toe heels, dark sunglasses and black Chanel clutch.

Hathaway broke out the same Rockstud pumps for press interviews, styling them with brown trousers and a black-and-white striped top with a red tie. Streep, naturally, opted for a cerulean suit.

Hathaway offered her own cerulean tribute in a Sacai fall 2026 off-the-shoulder knit in a shade that Miranda would insist is neither turquoise nor lapis, pairing it with the Japanese brand’s skirted trousers for press interviews.

Streep, meanwhile, wore the same Schiaparelli fringed top and keyhole pumps her co-star debuted in Mexico City the week prior, making them her own with a more subdued belt and cropped trousers.

For a press conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seoul, Streep referenced the film’s title in the most literal way yet, wearing a custom open-neck Prada suit in devil red.

She and Erlanger styled the look with a brown belt, David Yurman gold chain necklace, and gold Sole Bliss platform sandals. Hathaway, meanwhile, stepped out in a full Vaquera look: an off-the-shoulder top with voluminous sleeves and the brand’s “backwards” leather pants.

They traded color palettes for the evening’s premiere, with Hathaway in a scarlet leather Balenciaga dress and Streep in a custom Celine look with sharp trousers and a dramatic asymmetrical sleeve. She carried a custom bedazzled Judith Leiber clutch with the classic line “Gird Your Loins,” and polished the ensemble off with Fred Leighton diamonds.
