Three-time Grammy-winning country music star Miranda Lambert’s childhood home has sold — and it didn’t take long at all for the property to find its new owner.
Located in Lindale, Texas, the approximately 25-acre spread spent a mere two months for sale, Mansion Global reports. It asked just shy of $1.6 million — however, as Texas is a non-disclosure state, the final price paid isn’t known.
The grounds have two homes. Listing representative Lee Trowbridge of Compass previously told the outlet Lambert, 42, lived in the “big house” between the ages of 14 and 21. Then, at that latter age — after signing a record deal — she bought the “pink house” nearby.
At the time of the recent sale, Lambert still owned the pink house. Her parents, Richard and Beverly, owned the remainder of the estate.
Fans of Lambert will know this property from her 2009 song “The House That Built Me” — one that details the challenges of growing up, leaving and feeling disconnected from childhood roots.
The big house has more than 2,500 square feet of outdoor living space alone. Other exterior perks include white siding, a front porch and a matching balcony on the second level. The pink house, meanwhile, is smaller — but has its own deck that looks out to the property’s pond.
The offering, in sum, has some 4,600 square feet of indoor living space. There are four bedrooms and five full baths. The grounds also include a metal warehouse, a 100-yard shooting range, a shop with living quarters and three hookups for RVs.
The new owner is a local East Texan who will convert the property into a venue for weddings and other events — as well as a place for short-term stays. Delanee Clark of Re/Max Landmark repped him in the transaction.
