Dolly Parton turned 80 this year, but you’d never know it.
The country music icon released her third collaboration with Good American — fittingly dubbed Dolly’s Joleans, a play on Parton’s 1973 hit “Jolene” — this week, along with a slew of new campaign photos that see the octogenarian legend baring her midriff.
In several shots, Parton poses in the cropped Butterfly Top ($158), Embroidered Good Waist Palazzo Jeans ($198) from her latest collection, along with an unbuttoned Slim Fit Denim Shirt ($158) styled like a jacket on top.
In other images, Parton models her line’s Lace Up Poplin Tank ($148), bandana-inspired Tailored Poplin Shirt ($168) and more standout styles.
“You need to wear what you feel good in. That is what I consider real style,” she shared in a video promoting her new drop.
“I’m old enough to have seen everything come and go … and I’ve worn a lot of it,” she continued. “You gotta have something denim, or you just ain’t with it.”
A statement on Parton’s own website reads, “With this new Dolly’s Joleans collection, we took a little bit of my past and gave it new life for today. When someone puts these on, I want them to feel bold, beautiful, and completely themselves.”
The beloved singer has been dealing with some health issues recently, which forced her to postpone her Vegas residency. She also skipped her 80th birthday celebration at the Grand Ole Opry in January.
At the time, Parton shared, “As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures,” joking that it wasn’t her “usual trip to see [her] plastic surgeon.”
