Tyreek Hill’s wife awarded $500,000 in domestic violence civil case with wideout found liable on two counts

Make New York Post a Preferred Source Tyreek Hill was found liable on two counts of battery in the civil domestic violence case in Miami with his estranged wife, Lakeeta Vaccaro Hill, according to multiple reports.

Vaccaro Hill, who had alleged multiple instances of physical and verbal abuse, was awarded $500,000 in compensatory damages, though she did not get any punitive damages that she sought.

The former Dolphins receiver was found not liable on eight other counts by the six-person jury, while another count was removed by a judge earlier in the day.

Christi Bright, an attorney for Hill, said the free agent was happy with the results of the case.

“Mr. Hill was very pleased that he was able to get his story out and to be able to tell the world what he’s not been able to speak about,” Bright told reporters, according to ESPN. “He’s very grateful.”

Vaccaro Hill, on the first day of the weeklong trial, had alleged that Hill had tried to punch her in the stomach when she was pregnant in the summer of 2024.

Their daughter, Capri, was born months later in November.

“The first time he struck at my stomach and punched it and I saved myself,” Lakeeta said at the podium as she fought back tears. “He was like, ‘I don’t want the baby.’”

Hill, who had denied that specific allegation and most of the others in the case, was not found liable on that count, according to The Athletic.

Hill was found liable for two events, one in January 2024 and another in April 2025, the latter of which included nanny cam evidence. Hill was allegedly heard calling Vaccaro Hill a “broke bitch” in the argument, and he had allegedly attempted to take their daughter from their home.

Hill, while denying physical harm during the case, did say when he took the stand last Thursday that he felt “deeply ashamed” after saying he was “able to get people to hurt her.”

The five-time All-Pro First Team selection has remained unsigned, and the NFL said after the verdict was reached that his status was “under review.”

“We have been monitoring developments in the matter, which remains under review of the personal conduct policy,” an NFL spokesperson told Pro Football Talk on Tuesday night.

The Athletic reported last week that the Chiefs had reached out to Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, about a possible reunion as they sought to add depth to the receiver position. This week, the Chiefs signed Justin Watson to their practice squad.

Hill spent his first six seasons with the Chiefs — winning Super Bowl 2020 — before getting traded to the Dolphins before the 2022 season.

He was cut by the Dolphins in February after suffering a gruesome injury against the Jets during a game in September last season.
