Dolly Parton’s nephew allegedly used barbed wire to avoid being served with estate lawsuit

Make Page Six a Preferred Source Dolly Parton’s nephew Bryan Seaver allegedly took drastic measures to avoid being served in his legal battle with the late country icon’s estate.

The singer’s former head of security is being accused of attempting to evade a court summons with yellow caution tape “surrounding the front steps” of his Tennessee home, Page Six can confirm.

Barbed wire was allegedly “draped across the handrails leading to the front door.”

The individual who tried to serve him wrote in documents obtained by Page Six that there were also “‘no trespassing’ signs on the lawn and by the front door.”

The filing included photos of the preventative measures, which the server claimed were not present on Sept. 24 or 25 — but surrounded the home by Sept. 26.

She’s Alive, LLC, Parton’s management company, pointed out Seaver’s extreme measures while arguing against his request on Friday to push an Oct. 9 hearing back so he had time to find legal counsel.

Seaver claimed he wouldn’t be able to meet with the lawyer he wanted to retain until Oct. 5.

However, the filing stated, “He waited until the last moment to take any action, and the court should not reward that behavior.”

“Mr. Seaver already has lawyers who appear to be anxious to represent him,” the court documents continued, referencing an expletive-laden email sent days before Parton’s Aug. 25 passing.

In the message, Seaver insisted he and his attorneys were ready to “play ball” and quipped, “Just wait until my lawyers start f–king you up the ass.”

The email was sent on Aug. 21 — and one month later, news broke that Seaver had been fired from his position as head of security.

He released a statement on Sept. 22 about the “unexpected and, so far, unexplained actions,” writing that he and his security team “refuse to be intimidated by those whose actions [they] believe are being taken in bad faith and with the intent to profit from the life of someone who willingly gave so much.”

That same day, Parton’s longtime manager, Donny Nozell, requested a restraining order as he claimed Seaver had tried to extort him for money and threatened him.

Additionally, She’s Alive, LLC, filed a lawsuit alleging Seaver sent threatening messages that intimidated staffers and led many to flee from the office and hire private security.

Parton’s nephew has denied all allegations against him.

A judge agreed to push his hearing back to Oct. 20 amid Seaver’s alleged issues finding legal representation.

Seaver is Dolly’s sister Cassie Parton’s son, taking over the security role previously held by his dad, Larry Seaver.

Bryan was the one to announce his aunt’s passing publicly. The “9 to 5” hitmaker died at 80 after a secret battle with cancer.
