Also out on digital platforms this week is Union County, a drama starring Will Poulter and Noah Centineo as two drug-addicted brothers who are placed into a drug rehab program. The critically-lauded film was shot in Ohio, and much of the supporting cast consists of non-actors, many of whom work in drug rehabs in real life.

These are just a few of the films that are available to watch on Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, YouTube, and through your cable service this week. Check out what movies are available to buy or rent on demand now.

After spending a few years on a shelf at Warner Bros., Coyote vs. Acme finally made its way to theaters this summer, where it became a bona fide hit. The film, which is half-animated, half- live action, stars Will Forte as a lazy lawyer who is convinced to take on a new client, Wile E. Coyote, who needs help filing a lawsuit against Acme for all the various injuries he sustained while trying, and failing, to catch the Road Runner. The trailer says it’s the film “Acme doesn’t want you to see,” perhaps that’s a sneaky nod to Warner Bros. themselves, but maybe that’s why you should watch. The film is a sneaky and yet charming depiction of sticking it to the man.

The Uprising is based on the true story of the Peasants’ Revolt of 1381, also known as the Wat Tyler Rebellion, and it stars Andrew Garfield as an English ploughman whose family perished in the Black Death. Garfield’s character, along with priest John Ball (Jamie Bell) and Wat Tyler (Cosmo Jarvis) have join forces to lead a growing rebellion against King Richard II (Woody Norman) who sends his goons to collect death taxes and they’re not having it. (Oh, and the film may or may not be a Robin Hood origin story. You be the judge!) It’s available now on digital platforms.
