Anne Hathaway’s pelvic-floor ‘bible’ idea sparks buzz — This $19 gadget delivers ‘the burn’

Anne Hathaway is currently expecting her third child — and she’s had a particularly busy year, between the release of “The Odyssey,” “Mother Mary” and “The Devil Wears Prada 2”. In an interview promoting her latest film, “Verity”, the 43-year-old star was asked what kind of book she might want to write.

“I would probably want to write on pelvic floor health…” the actress quickly responded. “I would just want to interview every single expert I could find and write, like, a bible that would actually really help a lot of women.”

Her comments are bringing major buzz to an often-underdiscussed topic in women’s health. According to several studies, pelvic floor problems are quite common — and not just among women who have experienced pregnancy or childbirth. One review found that around 40% of women experience at least one pelvic floor problem, such as urinary incontinence or pelvic organ prolapse.

Hathaway explained there wasn’t much information available to her about pelvic health when she was a young woman. But since she began focusing on her pelvic floor, she has noticed improvements in her strength, energy and overall quality of life.

Fortunately, there are plenty of ways to train the pelvic floor, from physical therapy and Kegels to breathing exercises and fitness gadgets. The MERACH Pelvic Floor Exercise Device is one affordable option, priced under $20 ahead of October Prime Day, which runs Oct. 6 though 7.

And according to thousands of reviews, this tiny contraption is seriously effective at helping strengthen the core and pelvic floor — and it’s pretty easy to use

The ultra-compact machine features a comfortable 360-degree rotating pad and an adjustable leg trap “ideal for inner-thigh workouts and Kegel trainer exercises.” A built-in display tracks key metrics, including repetitions, durtion, and calories burned, so you can stay on top of your progress.

“This thing is the real deal!” one user raved. “I love that you can adjust the resistance easily and that it counts for you. It’s easy to use and it works great. I can feel the burn almost immediately after using it, and it’s comfortable to use. It can be easily hidden away because of its small size and its light weight.”

Beyond the glowing customer testimonials, there’s also scientific evidence supporting pelvic floor training. One review found that pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) can help improve urinary incontinence and reduce involuntary urine leakage. Another study found that daily pelvic floor muscle training over a period of 6 months can improve symptoms in women with prolapse.

For anyone looking to try it for themselves, the Merach machine is currently 33% off ahead of Prime Day— a rare chance to snag it on sale before the shopping extravaganza officially kicks off.

Compact, sleek, and simple, this under-desk elliptical lets you get some movement in — even when you’re seated and multitasking.

Strengthen your core with this fun and effective ab rolling wheel that targets your abdominals, hip flexors and back muscles.

A 2‑in‑1 compact walking pad (up to 3.8 MPH) featuring an LED display, remote, and anti‑slip belt — easy to roll under a desk or couch.
