Make Page Six a Preferred Source Martine Singer broke her silence on the “really hard” aftermath of her sister Michele and brother-in-law Rob Reiner’s murders nine months after the tragedy.
“Our lives are changed forever,” she told “Extra” Tuesday. “I suppose you heal from a wound, but the scar is there. It’s a really hard thing to describe because it never goes away.”
She also revealed how she is helping the late couple’s kids Jake and Romy cope after their brother Nick allegedly murdered their parents.

Patrick McMullan via Getty Images “Everybody in the family is healing in his or her own way. I’ll never be my sister and I can never be what’s missing in their lives, but I consider them my kids. There’s no daylight between us.”
During the interview, Singer also gushed about Michele and the legendary filmmaker’s love story before their untimely deaths.
“They were absolutely incredible together. They met and didn’t take long before they were together forever,” she said.
Martine also called the late pair “the most caring, generous, brilliant people,” noting that “they did a lot to try to heal the world” before their deaths.
As Page Six previously reported, Rob and Michele were stabbed to death in their California home, located in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles in December 2025.
