Make Page Six a Preferred Source RAYE says there’s nothing romantic going on between her and Michael B. Jordan.
“We’re just friends who like roller coasters,” the “Escapism” singer, 28, told Extra on the VMAs red carpet Sunday.
The reveal comes one month after she and the actor, 39, sparked dating rumors with a trip to Six Flags Magic Mountain on Aug. 7.
The “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” singer further shared that they’re working on a project together, but she’s “technically not allowed to talk about it because [she] might get in trouble.”
In an additional red carpet interview, RAYE told ET on Sunday that she and the “Sinners” star are “just lovely friends.”
“We’ve been working on some things, which is really nice.”

When asked if she is staying open for love, the singer shared, “I’m really excited, but also not forcing that chapter.”
“It just needs to find you naturally, you know, and they do say love finds you when you stop looking,” she continued.
“So, I’m just out here doing my work, getting it done, getting sleep when I can.”
In an Aug. 20 Today show appearance, the Brit Award winner revealed that she is “on strike from making an album until [she falls] in love.”
“I’ve written so many songs,” the singer started, “I’ve been a songwriter for a really long time and your perspective… my perspective has largely just been, ‘This didn’t work out or this sucks or I’m alone. My ex that time, or my ex that time.’ So I’m just very bored of that perspective.”
She confirmed that she is holding herself to this rule, saying, “I’m hard-set. It could be 10 years, guys [before she releases an album].”
