Add The New York Post on Google A Maryland pastor turned in an 87-year-old congregant who confessed to gunning down his roommate, according to authorities.
The pastor called Frederick police Sunday morning to report that Irwin Dickstein came to see him at the Frederick Christian Fellowship Church to confess to the killing, according to charging documents obtained by WJLA.
Officers then questioned Dickstein — who told them that the body was still in his home, where his roommate, Michael Bushnell, 63, was found dead in their bathroom with multiple gunshot wounds.

Google Maps A witness then told detectives that Dickstein got him to drive to the church that morning so he could confess to the pastor — and left a suitcase in the trunk.
Cops found a Beretta handgun in the case, which they believe is the murder weapon, the docs stated.
Dickstein, 87, was charged with a count each of first- and second-degree murder, police said.
A neighbor told investigators that he had heard several loud bangs from Dickstein and Bushnell’s residence around 5:30 a.m.
The neighbor said they had been arguing since Bushnell shut off the power while Dickstein was trying to fix an outlet, according to charging documents.
The accused killer is due in court Oct. 13 for a competency hearing.
