Add Page Six on Google Dolly Parton’s nephew, Bryan Seaver, slammed the late singer’s manager, Danny Nozell, and Pinnacle Bank after being fired from his longtime post as the head of security.
Seaver and his team told TMZ on Monday they are “dismayed by the unexpected and, so far, unexplained actions” taken since Parton’s death on Aug. 25.
“We refuse to be intimidated by those whose actions we believe are being taken in bad faith and with the intent to profit from the life of someone who willingly gave so much,” they said.
Seaver and his team also said while they’ve been comforted by the worldwide support for Parton’s legacy, they “remain unshakably resolved to fulfill her final directive to protect her family.”
Seaver — who announced the country icon’s death last month — and his security companies were immediately dismissed from all of Parton’s properties via a notice last week, according to TMZ.
New security teams were reportedly immediately put in place at Parton’s main residence in Nashville, as well as her museum, downtown residence and warehouse.

However, the termination letter doesn’t eradicate Seaver’s personal interest in Parton’s trust, which covers her business interests and properties, per TMZ.
Seaver, the son of Dolly’s sister Cassie, broke the news of the singer’s death in an Instagram video, revealing the announcement was “something Dolly asked of me years ago, before I fully absorbed it as a future reality.”
“As her head of security for more than two decades, a role my father Larry held before me, I have imagined the heaviness of this moment but haven’t truly felt it until now,” Seaver shared.
He added, “It is an honor that is mixed with absolute pride and great sadness. But sadness lies with us, not with Dolly.”
Seaver also said the “9 to 5” singer told him her final wish before her death was to be laid to rest in a “beautiful bed of plush cotton.”
Parton, who quietly battled cancer before her death, was buried at the Woodlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum beside her late husband, Carl Dean Thomas, three days after her passing.
Seaver attended the memorial with about a dozen of Parton’s closest relatives.
Her cousin, Richie Owens, said on “Today” earlier this month that the burial was “very quiet [and] very quickly done.”
“She wanted it very small,” Owens added of Parton.
