Video Aaron Rodgers is a Lousy Person | The Craig Carton Show Carton slams Rodgers for his lack of character.
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is a rather divisive, polarizing figure in sports.
Some people love his brash honesty and anti-establishment takes while others can't stand his hardened exterior and surly demeanor.
You can file OutKick's Craig Carton under the latter category, as he took Mr. Rodgers (whom he calls "The LeBron James of the NFL") to task over his latest controversial comments he made on a podcast appearance with Steelers teammate Cam Heyward.

Rodgers was quoted as saying that his ex-fiance, Hollywood actress Shailene Woodly, told him that she needed to "go f–k this guy" just days after she agreed to marry the star signal caller.
"Mr. Narcissist himself, Aaron Rodgers, went on the Cam Heyward Podcast, and decided that this was the right platform to embarrass himself," Carton retorted.
As Carton points out, Woodley hasn't spoken about Rodgers publicly for almost two years, yet the Super Bowl MVP feels the need to bring something up that may not have even happened in the first place.

"Just because Aaron Rodgers said it, doesn’t mean it’s true," Carton explained.
"The more he protests all the accusations against him, and the criticism of him, the more I gathered the fact that he’s a weird guy, a high maintenance guy, an absolute narcissist, and a guy that women should stay thousands of yards away from."
But Rodgers didn't stop with Woodley, and turned his sights towards former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick and her lack of intimacy during their relationship, as it would appear no ex is safe from his wrath.
He also claimed that Patrick was depressed after retiring from auto racing, and refused to let her help pay for his house in Malibu, saying he didn't think the relationship was going in the right direction.

While there doesn't seem to be any extrinsic motivation for Rodgers to make these comments, given neither of these women have spoken publicly about him in quite some time, Carton opines this all ties back to his narcissism.
"What joy do you get out of embarrassing Danica Patrick publicly? What joy do you get out of embarrassing Shailene Woodley publicly," he asked. "It’s always about you, isn't it, Aaron?"
Rodgers even threw some of his former teammates under the bus, and although he wouldn't refer to them by name, Carton was able to identify them as former Packers receiver Greg Jennings and tight end Jermichael Finley.

He bad mouths his exes, he bad mouths his former teammates, and although he will be a no-doubter for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, he's certainly not a hall of fame human, if Carton has anything to say about it.
"As great as Aaron Rodgers was…he’s a lousy person," he explained. "And when it all comes down in the wash, would you rather be a great football player or a great person?"
