Austin Simmons’ Missouri Tigers will play Isaiah Marshall’s Kansas Jayhawks in a historic college football game tonight in Lawrence, Kansas. This marks the first time the teams have gone head to head in the city since 2005.
The Tigers defeated the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions 54-14 on Sept.3, while the Jayhawks beat the LIU Sharks 51-6 on Sept. 4.
Missouri is entering the game as a -6.5 favorite, per FanDuel Sportsbook.
Tigers’ head coach Eli Drinkwitz is focusing less on the Border War and more on his team honing in on their skills.
“We’re going to have to do a really good job of making in-game adjustments,” he said. “We’re going to have to be disciplined.”
