In this exclusive sneak peek from this week’s episode, our favorite New Yorkers keep making moves. First, Rowan Henchy observes a small dog scratching her parents’ gorgeous couch. In her confessional with Ariana Biermann, Henchy explains the scene: “We are fostering a new dog. My mom says she’s always wanted something that you can bring anywhere.” While her mom, Brooke Shields, is an icon, Henchy always keeps her humble. “I was like, ‘Mom, you’re not Demi Moore,’” remembers Henchy, referring to Moore’s beloved Chihuahua named Pilaf. “Plus, she’s allergic to dogs. It’s the saliva of the dog.”
In the next scene, Henchy is on FaceTime with her father, producer/writer Chris Henchy. “I have some exciting news,” says Henchy. “I got a job back in journalism that’s starting in January. I’m a booking producer.” “Congratulations, that’s amazing,” says her dad. In her confessional, Henchy expresses her excitement for her new gig, but also acknowledges that she has many other career interests. “There’s a world in which I could be an entertainment journalist right now, but then again, I love making TikToks and doing my own skits. I’m also writing a movie.” Henchy’s dad listens and then tells her wisely, “At this early stage, you say yes to everything.” And she agrees!
Elsewhere in the city, Henchy’s pal Georgia McCann is riding in a PediCab with her boyfriend, Prez Thomas. “This is where I walked down in the parade,” says McCann, reflecting on the morning she spent dressed as a candy cane in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. “You know I know Santa,” says McCann cheekily. “We worked together this year.” “He let you into the inner circle this year,” teases Thomas. “You’re on the nice list,” replies McCann, not missing a beat.
Across town, Emira D’Spain is in curlers and sweatpants at a photo shoot, sharing her feedback with a staffer who is holding up a chic black dress. In her confessional, D’Spain explains the scene: “I’m shooting the cover of Marie Claire. It’s my first international cover. This is like a dream come true. My mom’s in town. It literally could not be more perfect…”
As D’Spain sits in the makeup chair, her stomach gurgles intensely. Horrified, she heads to the bathroom and begins to heave. Suddenly, the scene cuts back to D’Spain looking sheepish in her confessional. “The only thing is… I’m violently unwell.”
