The NTT IndyCar Series is about to hold a once-in-a-lifetime event on the streets of Washington, D.C., the Freedom 250 Grand Prix.
Organizers expect 140,000 fans on race day, and tickets — which were free — were gone in a flash.
But fear not, you can still catch all the IndyCar action in the nation's capital.

The 250-mile race is scheduled to get underway at 1 p.m. ET on a circuit that begins in front of the Capitol Building, makes a left down Pennsylvania Avenue and then weaves through the National Mall back to the start-finish line.

The race, like all IndyCar races this season, will be on Fox.
As previously stated, the race will begin at 1 p.m. ET, but a special extended prerace show will start at 11:30 a.m. ET on Fox.
First of all, if that's the case, you're pretty cool.
And you're in luck! Like many IndyCar weekends, there will be a brief pre-race warm-up session starting at 9 a.m. ET on FS1.
If you're not a cable customer and haven't invested in a good ol' fashioned pair of rabbit ears, you're in luck. All sessions, whether they air on Fox, FS1, or FS2, can be streamed on FOX ONE.
After the checkered flag flies at the Freedom 250 Grand Prix, teams will shift their focus to a very different track, the Milwaukee Mile.

The legendary track will host a doubleheader weekend of races on Aug. 29 and 30, both of which will air on FOX.
