Add The California Post on Google Unfortunately for him, Los Angeles Lakers star guard Luka Doncic has his name attached to a strange incident that occurred during a WNBA game on Thursday night.
A green dildo was thrown on to the court during the third quarter of the Atlanta Dream’s game against the Los Angeles Sparks.
Dream star forward Angel Reese quickly pointed out the perpetrator—who happened to be wearing a white Lakers jersey with Doncic’s name on it.

IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect Videos show the guy who threw the sex toy trying to flee the scene, dodging security guards. However, he was apprehended by arena security and arrested before leaving Crypto Arena. As a result of his actions, the individual (who hasn’t been named publicly) has been banned from all WNBA, NBA, and other league-affiliated games and events in the country indefinitely.
This is not the first time a dildo has been thrown on a WNBA court.
It happened when the Dream were facing the Golden State Valkyries last July, which sparked several other either successful or unsuccessful similar attempts at other WNBA games later that week.
A group of cryptocurrency traders who launched a meme coin called Green Dildo Coin (DILDO) claimed to be behind this, and claimed they were plotting more pranks to promote the coin.
This group of crypto traders hasn’t claimed this most recent instance, but perhaps they’ll do so in the near future.
Hopefully, what happened on Thursday night doesn’t spark another flurry of dildos being thrown onto WNBA courts. If it does, hopefully the perpetrators won’t be wearing any more Luka Doncic jerseys.
