All that’s missing from the scene in Skattebo’s starring commercial role for CBS’ “See you Sunday” campaign previewing the NFL season — alongside MVP candidate Trevor Lawrence, three-time 1,000-yard receiver Garrett Wilson, Hall of Fame coach Bill Cowher and other big names — is landing a backflip on his surgically repaired right ankle.
With just 101 carries for 410 yards and five touchdowns on his eight-game NFL career résumé, the human wrecking ball already has emerged as one of the league’s most viral personalities and a Giants fan favorite.
But what is Skattebo as a player? Will his production ever match the popularity that tickets him to red carpets and WWE matches, and brings followers to his Twitch page to watch him play video games?
