Add The New York Post on Google It’s the second week of the FedEx Cup playoff and the PGA Tour is heading to St. Louis.
After last week’s first round, a field of 70 golfers was cut by 20 and a few popular players, including Jordan Spieth and Max Homa, did not make the cut. Today, the BMW Championship begins.
Scottie Scheffler took home the win during last week’s FedEx St. Jude Championship, and in doing so, extended his lead in the playoff standings significantly. He’s currently sitting 1,447 points ahead of second-place player Matt Fitzpatrick.
Another dominant player, Rory McIlroy, struggled at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, finishing 66th out of 68.
After the BMW Championship ends, the field will be cut down to 30 players for the final FedEx Cup playoff, next week’s TOUR Championship.

We also recommend DIRECTV’s MySports Genre Pack, which also has ESPN, Golf Channel and CBS at a lower $49.99/month price after a five-day free trial.
Both DIRECTV plans come with access to the ESPN app, where you can stream additional coverage via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ throughout all four days of the tournament, including morning livestreams before TV coverage begins.
